Qualified Inspector for Technical Work Equipment - Machinery & Equipment

The Machinery & Equipment department makes sure that all work equipment, machines and systems meet legal requirements and regulations and work safely. This way DEKRA ensures the highest occupational safety for employees in a wide range of companies and helps prevent accidents.

• You carry out expert inspections of technical work equipment, devices, machines and installations (including gates, construction machinery, cranes, vehicle lifts, workshop equipment)
• In doing so you always take legal requirements into account, such as BetrSichV, ASR or the DGUV accident prevention regulations (UVV) as well as state regulations and mining authority regulations
• Afterwards you prepare precise and transparent inspection reports and technical expert opinions
• You advise our customers in a trustworthy way and use your network to expand your customer base
• Calibration and maintenance of emissions test (AU) devices
• Calibration of headlight adjustment stations and devices

• Master craftsperson / technician, or technical training as a mechanic, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification with inspection experience as a person qualified to carry out inspections
• We offer the option of internal training as a crane expert, provided you hold a master craftsperson / technician qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the safety inspection of work equipment according to BetrSichV and ASR 1.7
• Confident use of MS Office
• Required fitness for working at heights to carry out this work
• Strong writing skills to produce meaningful and precise documentation and reports
• Independent, responsible and customer-oriented way of working
• Class B driving licence and willingness to work locally in the field
