Assistant Director Debt & Capital Advisory

You want to accompany clients along the entire M&A deal cycle in the area of Strategy, Risk & Transactions – Advisory – Mergers & Acquisitions – from strategy and due diligence to financing and technology questions through to the successful implementation and integration of transactions? As Assistant Director Debt & Capital Advisory (m/w/d) you advise clients on the execution of demanding financing projects – and thus contribute to sustainable decisions and the future viability of companies. Our team of around 15 professionals is one of the leading and fastest-growing teams in the German market.

• Variety of tasks: You act as (junior) project manager for exciting financing projects and steer an interdisciplinary project team
• Advisory: Under your leadership, your project team analyses the initial situation and together you develop a tailored financing concept (with senior guidance) which you negotiate with banks and investors
• Client acquisition: Your tasks include identifying future clients, approaching them and creating and maintaining pitch presentations for top management
• Staff leadership: You support your team empathetically and motivatingly, actively assist them in project work and create career perspectives

• Degree in business administration with focus on international accounting, financing, controlling, company valuation (or equivalent)
• At least five years relevant professional experience in Debt Advisory, Investment Banking, or on the financing side (e.g. Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance or Private Debt)
• Experience in staff leadership, confident communication with demanding target groups and in negotiations, strong conceptual and analytical skills
• High commitment, personal responsibility and team-oriented, agile working style, proficient in MS Office
• Willingness to travel and enjoyment of communication and presentation for demanding target groups in German and English (very good written and spoken)
