Apprenticeship Track Layer 2027

You want to work outdoors instead of sitting inside and are fascinated by trains and technology - then the apprenticeship in track construction is just right for you! Starting 01.09.2027 we are looking for you for the 3-year apprenticeship as a track layer (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Schwerin. The vocational school and the training workshop are located in Hamburg.

• You work with your team outdoors on construction sites on our tracks
• Together you lay new rails and switches, check everything for damage and replace defective parts
• With the help of modern machines you renew the ballast under the tracks
• You pay close attention to all measurements – so that the trains run smoothly and safely later
• During your apprenticeship as a track layer you are already an important part of the team and ensure every day that our trains are running reliably

• You have successfully completed school (soon) and your school leaving certificate is recognized in Germany
• Your German language skills correspond to at least level B2
• Sitting at a desk is not for you – you prefer to work outdoors
• You are motivated and reliable
• You enjoy teamwork and like to pitch in
• Different work locations and working hours as well as night shifts are a welcome change for you
