Your colleagues show you step by step how to operate the technology in a signal box correctly You learn when to press the right buttons and keys to switch, for example, signals (traffic lights) or points (track change transitions) You are often in contact with the other employees in train traffic control and in the control centers as well as the train drivers You are an important part of our team and enable our passengers to have a safe and punctual journey with our trains

You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) school and your school qualification is recognized in Germany Your German language skills correspond to at least level B2 (for applicants with B1 level we offer a B2 online language course before the start of training) Even in demanding situations you keep calm and maintain an overview You like to take responsibility and work with concentration Teamwork and reliability characterize you You are ready to work in shifts

For the success of your training we provide the best conditions: You will receive a mobile device from us that you can use for learning and privately. We offer you 16 free trips within Germany per year and further travel discounts such as the DB Job Ticket for your daily commute. In addition, there are favorable travel options for family and friends. We support you in settling into your new city! If you have to commute more than 2.5 hours daily from your previous place of residence and rent a closer apartment, you will receive a rent subsidy of up to 400 € per month from us.
