- You learn the basics of computer science and business studies
- Programming, databases, operating systems, IT networks and project management are part of your daily studies
- Software, the use and integration of operating systems, architectures and also IT security are among the most important topics for you as a future business informatics specialist
- Learning technical English is also an important task for you in business informatics
- You also deal with business processes
- You work in agile, modern teams with flat hierarchies
- Comprehensive insights into database modelling, software development and project controlling are a matter of course in your business informatics studies
- You also take part in exciting IT projects
- You can have a say in which areas you complete your practical phases, but you also get to know the commercial areas of sales, marketing, finance and controlling
- The further your dual study programme progresses, the more responsibility you take on
- In addition to teaching technical and practical knowledge, we offer you a tailored seminar package
- You also receive personal and individual support from specialist mentors
Requirements
- You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) Abitur or have an equivalent vocational qualification (holders of the Fachabitur must pass the aptitude test for studying at DHBW before the start of studies; vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrolment requirements)
- Your favourite subjects are maths, computer science and economics
- You think digital solutions and the automation of everyday processes are great
- Thinking in business terms is also one of your strengths
- You enjoy teamwork and logical thinking comes naturally to you
- You are good at German and English anyway
