About this Apprenticeship
As soon as possible, we are looking for you as a temporary worker on behalf of Deutsche Bahn AG for an assignment as Solution Architect – Automation in Frankfurt am Main. Your employment contract is with DB Zeitarbeit GmbH. Full-time, fixed-term.
What You'll Learn
- Design, development and implementation of innovative automation solutions for business-critical core processes with high transaction volume, and ensuring a scalable, sustainable technical architecture
- Hands-on development and further development of reusable business capabilities as well as technical standards, guidelines and architecture requirements to promote company-wide automation and efficiency gains
- Evaluation, piloting and integration of new technologies (e.g. generative AI, agentic AI, process mining) to identify automation potential and achieve strategic architecture and innovation goals
- Ensuring quality, performance and scalability of automation solutions through active technical work, architecture reviews, technical acceptance and continuous optimization of existing solutions
- Technical steering of external and international implementation partners by defining technical requirements, structuring work packages and setting quality standards for timely project delivery
- Promoting technical know-how in the team through pair programming, tech talks and close cooperation with business units, governance and compliance units to develop future-proof automation solutions following the principle "Architect who codes"
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist, IT degree (Diplom / Master) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in process automation and digitalization of business processes
- Practical experience integrating AI solutions into existing process landscapes
- Sound knowledge of APIs, Microsoft Power Platform and Camunda
- Knowledge of Python, FEEL and at least one other programming language
- Experience with document processing technologies such as OCR, object recognition or Document Intelligence Services
- Confident communication in German (at least C1) and professional manner with different stakeholders
