Electrician / Electronics Technician for Qualification as Switch Mechanic and Cable Measurement Technician

We are looking for you as soon as possible as an electrician / electronics technician for qualification as a switch mechanic and cable measurement technician (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Halle (Saale) location. Full-time, permanent.

• You are responsible for the repair, maintenance, servicing and fault clearance of systems in control and safety technology (for example signals, switches and interlockings), so that our trains reach their destinations safely and reliably
• As a basis, you complete a tailor-made, 18-month internal qualification program to become a switch mechanic
• Afterwards or in parallel with a time offset, you qualify / specialize in cable measurement technology, which enables you to carry out measurement tasks, in particular (cable) fault location and assessment of cable quality (copper cables, fiber optic cables)
• In addition, you take care of conversion and installation work on cable systems and ensure that it is carried out professionally and on schedule
• You always keep in mind the company requirements, economic principles, technical standards and the rules that apply to DB InfraGO

• You have successfully completed a 3-year apprenticeship in electrical engineering or electronics (e.g. as an electrician, electronics technician for operations technology, electrical installer, mechatronics technician or a comparable occupation)
• You already have some experience in cable measurement technology, troubleshooting and cable repair, and have great interest in locating and repairing cable faults in railway-specific control and safety technology using modern measuring technology
• With a high level of commitment and willingness to learn, you take part in the internal qualification, and changing work locations, even outside the defined catchment area, is no problem for you
• You stand out through transparent communication and a strong sense of responsibility, so your team can always count on you
• A class B driving licence and confident, routine work with mobile devices and common IT applications round off your profile
