Forester Gardener as Vegetation Maintainer on Track

We offer you a unique working environment along the rails, interesting technology, responsible tasks and a secure workplace – together with you we move the railway forward! At the earliest possible date we are looking for you as a vegetation maintainer (f/m/d) for DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH at the Bielefeld location.

• You independently and reliably carry out vegetation maintenance along our rail network – thus you actively ensure that trains can run safely and reliably.
• This includes handling professional technology such as chainsaws, brush cutters, mulching and special technology, as well as the safe felling of trees and the proper removal of cuttings.
• You independently eliminate quality defects and act in the interest of safety.
• With your trained eye you immediately recognize hazard potentials in the vegetation and tackle them where it really matters.

• A successfully completed vocational training as a forester, landscape gardener, gardener in landscaping or a comparable qualification.
• You already have a chainsaw license or are willing to acquire it with us.
• For the daily travel to construction sites and the transport of our technology you ideally have a valid class B driving license and your own vehicle.
• You want to develop personally and professionally with us so that you can perform your responsible tasks reliably in the long term.
