About this Apprenticeship
As soon as possible we are looking for you as a Crane Operator / Loading Supervisor (f/m/d) for the Deutsche Umschlaggesellschaft Schiene - Straße (DUSS) at the Stuttgart Riem location.
What You'll Learn
- You record the actual condition of the loading units of incoming trucks and thereby check their transportability
- You observe safety-relevant regulations and instructions and maintain the associated data recording system
- You support your colleagues in the transshipment of loading units
- After obtaining the crane operator's licence you move up to 40 tonnes by operating our gantry cranes as well as mobile and shunting equipment
Requirements
- Ideally you have successfully completed a commercial-technical training, e.g. as a plant operator or specialist for warehouse logistics
- Alternatively you have gained professional experience in a warehouse, in loading or as a truck driver
- You like working in a team and have a friendly and reliable manner towards customers
- You find it easy to operate heavy equipment and enjoy working outdoors
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends is a matter of course for you and you also hold a valid class B driving licence
