Master Track Construction / Track Maintenance Mechanic / Superstructure Specialist

As soon as possible, DB InfraGO AG is looking for a Master Track Construction / Track Maintenance Mechanic / Superstructure Specialist (f/m/d) at its Halle (Saale) site. Full-time, permanent.

• Carrying out maintenance orders in the superstructure trade properly, professionally and on schedule (inspection, servicing, fault clearance, repair)
• Ensuring infrastructure facilities in the superstructure trade are available as required so that safe, punctual and economical operations are possible
• Working in the maintenance crew and providing technical leadership
• Supporting construction measures and carrying out vegetation work (e.g. cutting back) as well as winter service
• Participating in technical on-call duty

• Completed training as a track maintenance mechanic / superstructure specialist or as an IHK master craftsperson in track construction/civil engineering
• Alternatively, track builder / switch mechanic or a successfully passed final exam in an industrial-technical apprenticeship or another recognized trade, and willingness to acquire the additional qualifications to become a track construction master / superstructure specialist
• Easy handling of technical systems and common software; knowledge of SAP R/3 is an advantage
• Willingness to take responsibility and a high degree of independence
• Health fitness is an entry requirement and is checked by a company medical examination
• Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend and holiday work) and outdoors, and a valid Class B driving licence
