Planning Engineer Specialist KIB

In this position, you are responsible for the lead processing of complex and technically particularly difficult railway infrastructure projects, including the coordination and disposition of the engineering planning services in the project team. You assume the execution of the contract-compliant service delivery (cost, schedule, quality compliance) and the approval capability. The execution of the contract-compliant contribution to obtaining public-law approvals according to §18 AEG is part of your tasks. You monitor the discipline-specific planning services in the object planning for engineering structures and the structural design in service phases 1–7. The responsible execution of specialist projects, including the preparation of offers and commercial leadership, falls within your area of responsibility. You are the technical contact person in the supra-regional cooperation, perform activities as a building submission authorized person, and also act as a mentor for employees.

• You monitor the discipline-specific planning services in the object planning for engineering structures and the structural design in service phases 1–7.
• The responsible execution of specialist projects, including the preparation of offers and commercial leadership, falls within your area of responsibility.
• You are the technical contact person in the supra-regional cooperation, perform activities as a building submission authorized person, and also act as a mentor for employees.

• The basis of your career is a successfully completed technical college/university degree as a civil engineer.
• You have many years of professional experience as a planning engineer in structural engineering; the building submission authorization according to VVBau is desirable.
• You can demonstrate profound knowledge in the object and structural planning of engineering structures, particularly in service phases 4 and 5 (structural design) or special knowledge such as rail stress calculations, recalculation of existing bridges, and bridge rehabilitation.
• You have advanced IT skills in common structural analysis software (Infograph) and good knowledge of BIM modeling software.
• Very good knowledge of the applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, especially those of DB AG, is also given.
