Are you the go-to person for computer questions? Without IT, your world doesn't work? You don't just want to operate systems, but understand how they keep the whole Messe Berlin running? Then this is your apprenticeship and #TeamMesseBerlin your community to bring technology and business together. We train for our own needs. That means for you: real responsibility with perspective. In your apprenticeship, you go through the various areas of Messe Berlin, look behind the scenes everywhere, and gather the tools for your further career. You shape the path. As a Digitalization Management Merchant, you combine commercial thinking with IT know-how. You support and manage the digitalization of our business processes, optimize existing IT systems, and make Messe Berlin more future-proof. You work customer-oriented, give your colleagues technical support, and develop new concepts together with the team. Because we, Messe Berlin, also want to develop further in times of digitalization and successfully conduct our events both physically and digitally.

• IT Solutions: You work with existing IT systems, optimize them from an economic perspective, and operate modern hardware and software. You also develop concepts for new systems that make Messe Berlin more efficient.
• Support: You are the computer expert in the house and help colleagues with problems. You learn how updates are distributed and new software is rolled out on many computers.
• Commercial Tasks: Obtaining quotes, ordering, advising, selling, phoning – in German and English. The world is our guest.
• IT Security & Data Protection: Protection of our company data is also your responsibility. You learn how to control digitalization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Professional:
• Completed school diploma, preferably (technical) university entrance qualification
• Good English skills, no fear of math
• Basic MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• First exposure to a programming language, computer technology, or other digital tools Personal:
• You think in systems: When a process hitches, you want to know why – and how to make it smarter.
• Digitalization is a craft for you, not a buzzword: You want to understand how software, hardware, and business processes interlock.
• You like explaining what others don't understand: Technology is not power knowledge for you, but something you want to make understandable.
