Field Sales Executive

Field sales executive for the DHL Global Forwarding sales team in Munich. Permanent, full-time.

• Independently acquire new customers in the defined customer segment
• Advise and support new and existing customers in air and sea freight with a focus on air freight
• Prepare and calculate offers according to customer requirements
• Use and process customer information in the DGF CRM system
• Collect relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ process and prepare documents for customer implementation and operational handover (SLAs, SOPs)
• Create presentations in German and English
• Control and coordinate sales events
• Continuously monitor and analyze the market
• Personal and telephone customer support
• Correspondence with customers, DHL offices and partners in German and English

• Completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), a degree in logistics, or equivalent training/work experience
• Several years of sales experience
• Product knowledge in air and sea freight with a focus on air freight
• Sound and current market knowledge
• Willingness to travel regionally
• Very good English skills (spoken and written)
• Good PC skills (M365, especially PowerPoint, CRM systems)
• Customer-oriented and solution-oriented thinking
• Strong communication and presentation skills, teamwork, resilience, organizational talent
