Business Analyst Settlement Securities Account Transfers

Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG, with over 22 years of experience in the securities business, is the leading provider of securities services in Germany. Using the WP3 system platform, we process several million securities transactions annually for over 1,000 banks. The department comprises 15 employees at the Düsseldorf and Eschborn (near Frankfurt) locations. Five colleagues handle all relevant topics around clearing/settlement and securities account transfers. The team acts as a central interface and advisory partner between banking specialist departments and IT development. The focus is on structured analysis of specialist requirements and their translation into efficient and sustainable IT solutions.

Business Analysis: Continuous development of the securities processing system for account transfers and clearing/settlement; Project Management: Lead and support medium to large projects from idea through analysis and implementation to go-live (classic/agile); Interface & Requirements Management: Bridge specialist department and IT, analyze processes, structure complex requirements, develop sustainable solutions; Quality & Testing: Design test concepts, manage test phases, ensure reliable rollout of new functions; Analysis & Consulting: Conduct feasibility studies, assess effort, provide decision basis for stakeholders; Networking & Team Spirit: Build cross-departmental relationships, promote knowledge transfer, strengthen team cohesion, business travel between Düsseldorf and Eschborn.

Completed degree or comparable qualification (STEM field) with several years of practical experience in securities account transfers or clearing & settlement; familiarity with SWIFT formats and common settlement platforms; project experience (classic or agile) with good understanding of system architectures; ability to communicate complex topics clearly, bring together different perspectives (IT, specialist department, management); structured, proactive, responsible, networked thinking, enjoyment of learning and knowledge transfer; knowledge of tax processing of securities account transfers (e.g., TAXBOX procedure, tax office notifications) is a plus; negotiation-level German (min. C1) and very good English (min. B2).
