Securities Settlement Specialist - Corporate Action Events

Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG is the leading provider of securities services in Germany. The Depot and Tax Service team (25 colleagues in Munich and Düsseldorf) is responsible for processing capital repayments in cash and securities as part of securities settlement.

• Operational processing: You independently process capital repayments in cash and securities in daily business and ensure correct, timely and high-quality settlement.
• Billing and bookings: This includes creating customer letters and statements, reconciling cash and securities bookings and handling special cases.
• Interface coordination: Working with custodians, settlement agents and issuers, you handle the technical coordination, create instructions and communicate professionally with internal and external interfaces.
• Technical advice: As a technical contact, you answer inquiries and handle orders and complaints related to your topic area and actively share your knowledge with the team.
• System tests and further development: Alongside daily business, depending on availability, you support (agile) projects, e.g. technical tests, and carefully check system and process changes.
• Beyond the usual: For special tasks such as customer migrations or regulatory changes, you contribute flexibly and solution-oriented and take responsibility where needed.

• Sound knowledge of securities settlement and initial practical experience in testing systems and processes are required for this position.
• You are confident using MS Office products and SAP and ideally already know our own system family (WP2/WP3).
• Ideally you have basic knowledge of tax law.
• Ideally you already have experience in conceptual project work. Knowledge of agile project methods is an advantage but not a must.
• Written or spoken, you speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2).
• High conscientiousness, accuracy and quality orientation shape your work, as you have a strong risk awareness and know how important careful, rule-compliant work is in sensitive processes.
• You work in a self-organized way and take responsibility for your topics. You keep an overview, set priorities and move your tasks forward in a structured and reliable way.
