Specialist Securities Settlement Order Accounting

Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG, with over 22 years of experience in securities business, is the leading provider of securities services in Germany. Using the WP3 system platform, it processes several million securities transactions annually for over 1,000 banks. The 26-member team handles commissions and order accounting and seeks reinforcement for the Order/Post-Processing subteam, responsible for proper execution, follow-up, and quality assurance of all order processes in national and international securities business. The position is limited to 2 years.

• Independent handling of order accounting tasks, monitoring of relevant watchlists, analysis of irregularities, derivation of necessary measures
• Follow-up of national and international exchange and OTC fund business, ensuring correct processing and resolution of discrepancies
• Processing of cancellations and re-billing, clarification of settlement complaints
• Expert contact for clients and internal departments, providing sound answers, making processes clear and transparent
• Active participation in technical, strategic, and partly agile projects from conception through testing to implementation, shaping processes and driving sustainable improvements

• Completed commercial training in finance (e.g., banking clerk) with practical experience in securities settlement
• Good understanding of procedural contexts and interest in securities business processes; initial exposure to (agile) project methods a plus
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good German (C1) and good English (B1)
• Conscientiousness, precision, strong risk awareness, careful and compliant work
• Enjoyment of learning new topics, flexibility, and analytical thinking
• Ability to maintain overview and structured approach in demanding or time-critical situations
