Sales Assistant, 20 to 25 hours per week, in 24837 Schleswig

As a sales assistant at dm in Schleswig, you advise customers and support store sales. The part time role is for 20 to 25 hours per week, from 1 March to 31 December 2027. Shifts are agreed with the store, Monday to Saturday between 6:00 and 20:00.

• Customer advice: Help customers with knowledge and a smile, answering all their questions.
• Product displays and range: Arrange products clearly, in a way that suits customers and makes them easy to reach, helping people enjoy shopping at dm.
• Customer focus: Make shopping at dm a pleasant experience through your openness and willingness to help.
• Passport photo service: Take passport photos for identity documents and similar uses according to biometric standards.
• Checkout: Keep the checkout running smoothly so customers finish their shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and help prepare express deliveries for customers.
• Promotional displays: Help design themed promotional tables, using your creativity, ideas and organisational skills.
• Stocktaking: Record stock levels and place orders to keep products available in the store.

• Customer service: Your empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people help create dm's welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and experience: You have completed vocational training in business or retail and already have experience in retail or another business role.
• Activated eID for the passport photo service: Your identity document must have its eID function activated so that passport photos taken in stores can be sent digitally to citizens' offices.
• Skills: You enjoy digital work and confidently use smartphones and similar devices. You also have an excellent command of German.
• Teamwork and motivation: You help the team keep the store running smoothly and agree working hours together. You stay calm under pressure.
