Apprentice Cooks

Three-year apprenticeship with placements in breakfast, banquet and à la carte kitchens, as well as in service and storage. It includes vocational school, training and personal support; an additional qualification in vegan or vegetarian cuisine is possible.

Rotations through breakfast, banquet and à la carte kitchens, as well as placements in service and storage; participation in training and instruction, for example on costing and food usage; taking on responsibility and preparing for a future leadership position.

Physical resilience and a sense of humor; a good school-leaving certificate; enjoyment of working with food and willingness to learn; ability to handle stress and work in a team; enjoyment of dealing with guests and colleagues.
