Educator / Childhood Educator as Lecturer for PEKIP Courses in the Parents' School at the Kunstkrankenhaus

As a course instructor / lecturer you accompany parents and their babies from the 4th to 6th week of life through the entire first year of life, based on the Prague Parent-Child Program (PEKiP). You support parents in perceiving their baby in its individual development and current condition, and give age-appropriate movement and play suggestions that promote its independence and self-efficacy. With suitable play and movement offers you create space for joint discovery and trying out. At the same time you enable parents to exchange ideas, discuss questions and challenges of everyday family life and make contacts with other families. • You lead a PEKIP course in small groups (five to eight adults with their babies) once a week
• You accompany babies in their first year of life with loving, age-appropriate play and movement offers in their development
• You create space for encounter, exchange and mutual support among parents
• You strengthen parents in their role, address their questions and concerns and give them security in dealing with their baby

• Completed training as Educator / Nursing specialist with focus on Pediatrics / Health and Children's Nurse
• Or: Completed degree as Social Pedagogue / Childhood Educator
• Certification as PEKIP Course Instructor
