Cleaner, Nursing Home, Berlin, ID: 15689

Part time cleaning role in a residential care and nursing home in Berlin. Immediate start on a one year contract, with the option to stay afterwards. Work 15 to 20 hours per week across five days from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 12:00, with occasional weekend work.

• Clean a residential care and nursing home, including residents' rooms, corridors and shared areas
• Dispose of medical waste according to waste sorting rules
• Check and refill hygiene supplies
• Record individual work procedures
• Follow and apply instructions and rules for work procedures, cleaning methods and hygiene
• Attend regular training

• Knowledge and experience of cleaning nursing homes
• Knowledge of disinfection methods and procedures is desirable
• Good German skills, at least B2
• Reliability and a sense of responsibility when working in sensitive areas and following sensitive procedures
• Understanding, kindness and respect when dealing with older people and people who need care
• Vaccination against measles and hepatitis, or willingness to be vaccinated, as required for staff in healthcare and care facilities
• Willingness to work occasional weekends
