DZ BANK is Germany's second-largest commercial bank, the central institution of the Cooperative Financial Network, central bank for around 700 German cooperative banks, and holds the holding function for the DZ BANK Group companies. The Market Risk Management unit within Group Risk Controlling is responsible for monitoring market price risks and analyzing them at group level. During your internship, you will gain insight into the diverse market-risk-related product world of DZ BANK AG and the DZ BANK Group companies, as well as into regulatory requirements for the normative and economic representation of market price risks.

• Help ensure data quality and analyse and resolve data errors
• Work independently on automation and transformation projects, particularly using Python and SQL
• Support daily and monthly market price risk reporting
• Work in a technically complex environment

• Theoretical knowledge and some practical knowledge of banking products
• Master's studies with a quantitative focus, such as economics, business information systems or mathematics
• Enthusiasm for complex analysis at every level, from understanding an individual transaction in depth to seeing the bank as a whole
• Enjoyment of programming and good knowledge of common programming languages such as SQL, R or Python
