Apprenticeship in the food trade with a focus on butchery. You will learn how to produce and prepare sausage and meat products, design and monitor the fresh-food counter, and advise customers. The apprenticeship normally lasts three years and may be shortened under certain conditions.

Producing and preparing sausage and meat products; designing the fresh-food counter to promote sales; checking goods in accordance with hygiene regulations; providing expert customer advice and conducting sales conversations; creating finger food and sausage platters.

Completed school education; team spirit, commitment and reliability; good communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact; enjoyment of working with fresh food.
