Mandatory Internship Internal Communications

Join the Internal Communications team at EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG in Hamburg from early February 2027 and help develop and carry out communication measures. The 6-month mandatory internship lets you combine theory from your studies with practice.

• Continuously maintain and develop the content of the EDEKA headquarters intranet by planning and writing texts
• Support the introduction of new internal communication measures
• Help create and prepare content suited to the target audience
• Research new editorial content independently
• Coordinate cooperation with the departments involved independently
• Work on selected external media communication projects

• Student in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in media/communication studies, business administration, economics or a similar field (ideally focused on marketing/communication) who wants to complete a mandatory internship
• Basic interest in and feel for writing, visualization and imagery
• Creative, with strengths in structured and careful work
• Confident writing style and strong communication skills
• Initiative and quick comprehension
• Good German skills
• Enjoy working with content management systems and digital tools (e.g. Canva)
• Ideally first experience with MS Office applications, especially Microsoft SharePoint
