As a working student, you support the teams of the Asklepios group divisions in bringing artificial intelligence into real applications in daily clinic work, and learn how modern AI systems are selected, integrated and used. Part-time.

• You support the various teams of the group divisions in bringing artificial intelligence into real applications in daily clinic work, learning step by step how modern AI systems are sensibly selected, integrated and used.
• Learning and understanding AI basics: you build a solid understanding of how large language models (LLMs) really work. You get to know different model architectures, understand their differences and learn how to extend them and use them correctly in practice. It is not only about applications but also about a solid technical foundation.
• Working with AI solutions: you learn how to choose and use existing AI services and tools for specific use cases.
• Integrating AI applications: you actively help integrate AI tools and APIs into existing systems and processes and make them productive.
• Communication and coordination: you gain insight into working with various stakeholders (IT, group divisions, departments, clinics). You learn to understand requirements, choose suitable solutions and support their use.
• End-to-end process understanding: from the first use case through tool selection and integration to productive use. You accompany the entire lifecycle of AI applications.
• Research and evaluation: you follow new developments in AI and assess which existing tools and solutions can sensibly be used in healthcare.

• you study computer science, data science, medical informatics or something comparable.
• you want to actively help shape the meaningful use of AI in healthcare.
• you have solid experience in AI / machine learning / data science and know modern technologies such as LLMs, prompt engineering and production AI systems.
• you bring programming skills (e.g. Python) and experience with relevant frameworks.
• you are interested in applying existing technologies in practice while building a deep understanding of them.
• you work in a structured way and like to drive topics forward independently.
• you have a good understanding of the responsible handling of sensitive data.
• you are not only interested in theory, but want to see how your work has real impact.
• you have very good German skills, spoken and written.
