Dual Study Program in Civil Engineering

Combining practical vocational training as a track layer (m/f/d) in our company, on construction sites, and at the Bauindustrie Oberhausen training center with academic studies at Bochum University of Applied Sciences (duration 4.5 years)

Expansion and maintenance of rail traffic as well as laying tracks and switches Monitoring track curves and gauges with surveying equipment Renewing track bedding and replacing damaged tracks and switches Building railway crossings

General or subject-specific university entrance qualification, ideally with good grades in math and physics Good German language skills (at least level C1) Interest in organizational and inspection tasks, e.g., coordinating execution work Interest in practical activities and outdoor work Resilience and spatial imagination Independent work style, willingness to take responsibility and perform, and teamwork skills Mobility and flexibility, as working conditions and locations change frequently
