Apprenticeship as a Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Technician

At ENGIE, you will learn how heating, plumbing and ventilation systems are operated, maintained and improved. You will work on real projects with experienced colleagues from the start. You will attend Richard-Fehrenbach-Gewerbeschule vocational school in Freiburg.

• Learn the basics of heating, plumbing and ventilation systems and how to use tools, materials and components; practise measuring, drilling, assembling and testing technical systems while working on real projects.
• Help with maintenance, inspections and repairs of systems in hospitals, shopping centres, office buildings or industrial facilities.
• As your experience grows, help find faults, carry out small repairs and gradually take on more responsibility.

• At least a Hauptschulabschluss, First School Leaving Certificate (ESA), vocational entry qualification (BBR) or a higher school qualification.
• Interest in science and technical subjects.
