State-Recognized Special Needs Care Worker, Part-Time Alongside Employment

Part-time vocational training leading to state recognition as a special needs care worker. The program prepares participants to support, educate, and care for people with intellectual, physical, or psychological disabilities and to develop support plans with specialist professionals.

Activating people through meaningful activities; supporting everyday tasks; providing help for self-help; offering support as a trusted contact person; supporting social, school, and professional integration; individually supporting and caring for people with disabilities; promoting development through suitable art, music, and movement methods; organizing, coordinating, and reflecting on special needs care work.

Secondary school diploma; or an equivalent qualification plus a relevant vocational qualification lasting at least two years; or a recognized vocational qualification lasting at least two years plus at least one year of relevant employment; or at least seven years of full-time care work; medical certificate confirming fitness for the program; extended certificate of good conduct; proof of sufficient measles vaccination; relevant professional employment during the training.
