Theory phases at the vocational school: ​ - At the Hans Böckler Vocational College in Marl, you will be taught a solid basic knowledge in job-specific and general education subjects.

• Operational training:
• Installation, maintenance and repair of measuring, control and regulating devices on electrical production plants and process control systems
• Measuring physical quantities such as pressure, temperature and flow, as well as electrical quantities such as currents and voltages
• Maintenance, repair and testing of electrical systems
• Creation and extension of control programs and programming of automated plants
• Installation and initialization of operating systems, bus systems and network technology
• Optimization and troubleshooting in ongoing production processes
• Organization of work processes and implementation of projects in the field of electrical and automation technology
