Apprenticeship 2027 Chemical Plant Operator - Steinau

Varied, high-quality apprenticeship as a chemical plant operator at Evonik. As a chemical plant operator (m/f/d), you are responsible for the entire production processes within your plant. The theoretical training takes place at the Ludwig-Geißler vocational school in Hanau. Training duration: 3.5 years. Training locations: Steinau and Hanau. There are no application deadlines as long as the position is advertised.

• Monitoring and controlling chemical processes
• Maintenance, inspection and cleaning of chemical production plants
• Checking and operating valves, measuring and control devices
• Carrying out simple chemical tests for quality control
• Production, processing and shipping of products
• Carrying out various process engineering methods such as heating, cooling, filtering, etc.
• Complying with and checking quality standards, taking occupational safety and environmental protection into account

• Good lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) or higher
• Enjoyment of and interest in natural sciences, especially chemistry
• Technical and physical understanding
• Good math skills
• Willingness to work shifts (rotating shifts)
• Enjoyment of working with digital systems and applications
• Care and ability to concentrate
• Desire to work in a team
