Manufacturing Technology Engineer

FRoSTA is seeking a Production Engineer for its Bremerhaven or Lommatzsch site near Dresden to drive the strategic and technological development of its production sites.

• Develop production and automation technology and modernize equipment
• Improve productivity, plant performance, quality, rejects and yield
• Define technical standards, specifications and documentation requirements
• Coordinate incident management, troubleshooting, error analysis and predictive maintenance
• Provide technical oversight of investment projects and manage external suppliers and technical teams
• Ensure environmental, occupational, hygiene and food-safety requirements are met
• Train technicians and machine operators through workshops and coaching

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, food technology, industrial automation or a comparable qualification
• At least three years of professional experience in manufacturing technology, ideally in the food or FMCG industry
• Knowledge of automation, robotics and production-system integration
• Knowledge of lean management and process-improvement methods such as Six Sigma
• Fluent English; German or Polish depending on the location
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other FRoSTA plants
