About this Apprenticeship
You install, program and repair machines and systems and get the electronics back on track. The training takes place at BASF: 40% central basic training in cooperation with another training company in the region and 60% practical on-the-job training in maintenance (four areas). Applications open from early June 2026.
What You'll Learn
- Installing and setting up machines and drive systems, assembling and wiring switching devices and automation systems, programming and configuring systems
- Analyzing faults in operations technology, taking immediate action and repairing the systems
Requirements
- At least a good Realschulabschluss (intermediate school leaving certificate)
- Reliable color vision
- Interest in technical and manual work as well as in physics, mathematics and computer science
- Precise and analytical way of working
- Sense of responsibility, accuracy and care at work
