• Handling of pharmaceutical-specific substances
• Pharmaceutical process engineering
• Galenics for dosage forms
• Conducting content controls and quality tests
• Determining substance constants and properties
• Separating and purifying substance systems
• Application of microbiological work techniques
• Controlling and regulating technical processes
• Measurement, control, and regulation technology
• Recording and influencing process data
• Quality assurance and pharmaceutical documentation
• Legal basics in the manufacture and packaging of medicinal products

• Secondary school diploma, high school diploma, technical college entrance qualification, or a comparable qualification
• Good grades in chemistry, physics, and mathematics desired
• Interest in pharmaceutical issues and the production environment
• Inclination towards an analytical approach (examine, observe, measure, and calculate)
• Carefulness, sense of responsibility, and joy in teamwork
• Willingness to work shifts
