About this Apprenticeship
As a rule, the apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years with regular alternation between theory and practice. The theoretical part takes place one to two days per week at the vocational school at Lise-Meitner-Schule. The practical part in the first apprenticeship year takes place at the Chemistry Vocational Training Center, where you learn all basic knowledge and skills in small groups. Afterwards you work in our modern production areas.
What You'll Learn
- In our pharmaceutical production you operate and monitor computer-controlled production and packaging lines to produce medicines in the appropriate quantity and quality
- You maintain and service the equipment, carry out minor repairs and document your activities carefully
- You have the opportunity to work in the production and filling of liquid and semi-solid medicines as well as the production and packaging of solid forms
- In doing so, you always work responsibly and quality-conscious and observe all regulations conscientiously
Requirements
- You have at least a secondary school diploma or high school diploma
- You can demonstrate good performance in science subjects
- You bring high motivation and enthusiasm for scientific content and modern production facilities
- You successfully pass the aptitude test during our application process
