About this Apprenticeship
Machines simply fascinate you and chemistry is your thing? Perfect! As a process mechanic for coating technology, you help develop and test new paint technologies and coating processes. In our customers' automotive plants, you manage the paint order and organize the entire process from paint delivery to approval of paint application. You contribute to ensuring that our paint is applied with the optimal coating process.
What You'll Learn
- Preparation of surfaces for coating
- Selection and application of various coating techniques
- Operation and maintenance of coating systems
- Monitoring of coating processes and quality control
- Analysis of coating defects and implementation of repair measures
Requirements
- At least an intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife) or a good lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)
- Enjoyment of manual work
- Enthusiasm for technical questions
- Willingness to work shifts
- Interest in automotive paints and their diverse application possibilities and enthusiasm for responsibility, accuracy, and care in work
