Apprenticeship as Tool Mechanic

Get started at one of the largest employers in the region and become part of the solution in the fight against disease worldwide, at our smaller, family-like site in Göttingen, close to our main site. We are looking for you for a technical apprenticeship as a tool mechanic (x|f|m). You learn to make tools using traditional manufacturing methods and on CNC-controlled machines. The apprenticeship starts on 01.08.2027 and lasts 3.5 years.

• You are placed in different departments based on a structured training plan, so you get to know processes and manufacturing techniques
• Take on defined tasks and responsibilities, and make, machine and maintain tools and fixtures for industrial series production of plastic parts based on technical drawings
• Besides traditional machining methods, also use CNC-controlled machine tools and partly program them yourself
• Personal and professional development is supported by regular workshops, internal lessons and structured exam preparation
