Dual Study Programme (B.Sc.) in Applied Computer Science

Dual study programme in Applied Computer Science at BASF Digital Solutions in partnership with Worms University of Applied Sciences. You will work on digital solutions in an international company and help shape practical placements in areas such as data science, mobile apps, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cyber security and cloud computing.

• Learn to plan, install and operate computer systems, networks and applications from scratch while considering security and business needs
• Gain knowledge across all areas of computer science
• Take part in further training and courses with a strong practical focus
• Complete individually arranged practical placements and contribute to digital projects that create value

• At least a good entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences
• Good knowledge of mathematics, computer science and, where applicable, physics, for example to develop models for controlling processes
• Strong analytical thinking and enjoyment of working with data and numbers
• Interest in hardware, software, web development and cyber security
• Enthusiasm for new developments in IT
• High reliability, very good communication skills, initiative and enjoyment of teamwork
