Electrical Engineer as Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK)

For Technical Facility Management we are looking, as soon as possible, for an electrical engineer as Responsible Electrical Specialist. You take overall technical and legal responsibility for the safe, compliant and economical operation of the electrical systems at HAMBURG WASSER, ensure compliance with all legal requirements, standards and technical regulations, and help shape the maintenance and ongoing development of the infrastructure. Full-time (38 hours), also suitable for part-time, permanent. Pay: S7 in the company pay scale agreement.

• Technical leadership and responsibility for the electrical operating units as Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) in line with the applicable requirements of VDE 1000-10 and VDE 0105-100
• Creating, maintaining and continuously developing procedures, operating and work instructions as well as risk assessments, access rules and training materials
• Ensuring compliance with and implementation of all relevant legal requirements, technical regulations and standards in the electrical area of responsibility
• Planning, managing and supporting complex electrical tasks and projects in close cooperation with the internal engineering office and other departments
• Advising, training and providing technical support to managers and employees on all relevant questions of electrical engineering and electrical safety

• Successfully completed engineering degree, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering, or comparable skills and knowledge
• Several years of professional experience as an electrical engineer and solid practical knowledge of operating and maintaining electrical systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant electrical regulations and rules, in particular the VDE provisions, the Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), the DGUV regulations and occupational safety requirements
• Existing switching authorization for medium-voltage systems or willingness to acquire it
• Strong advisory, analytical and problem-solving skills and a high process orientation, combined with an independent way of working, assertiveness and responsible action in demanding situations
