Craftsperson Network Operations Water Maintenance

For its Netzbetrieb Mitte, HAMBURG WASSER is looking for a craftsperson as soon as possible. Full-time (38 hours), also suitable for part-time, on-call duty, permanent. The network operation ensures water supply and wastewater disposal in Hamburg.

• Ensuring a reliable and trouble-free drinking water supply for Hamburg
• Locating and repairing pipe bursts and damage to supply and house connection lines
• Carrying out inspection, maintenance and repair work on hydrants, valves and other fittings in the drinking water network, including using the keyhole method
• Taking part in on-call duty and, if needed, the fault service (shift work) to quickly resolve faults
• Supporting work in the wastewater network according to deployment and staffing planning

• Completed commercial-technical vocational training or comparable knowledge; career changers are very welcome
• First practical experience and strong manual skills
• Good technical understanding and openness to using digital tools such as tablets and camera systems
• Driver's license class B, ideally C1E or CE, or willingness to obtain the license at HAMBURG WASSER
• Careful and independent way of working as well as team spirit, communication skills and sense of responsibility
