Let's connect: Join us on a permanent basis, at the earliest possible date, in our Group Finance Accounting department at the Hannover / Germany location as Financial Accountant Group Accounting HGB, IFRS and Finance Transformation. Shape financial reporting, HGB and IFRS financial statements and the further development of modern accounting processes in an international environment.

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and be responsible for forecasting and planning processes in accordance with HGB and IFRS for companies of the Hannover Re Group
• Be responsible for the determination, posting and analysis of provisions in SAP FI GL
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and implement balance sheet corrections
• Drive the transformation in accounting through the migration to SAP S/4HANA and continuously develop processes in the sense of Future Readiness

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and/or forecast and planning processes in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Experience in the (re-)insurance environment is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Excel as well as good knowledge of SAP FI GL and ideally SAP S/4HANA
• German and English language skills at a negotiable level
• Interest in digitalization, automation and the further development of accounting processes as well as a cooperative and communicative working style
