About this Apprenticeship
hasenkamp is looking for a dispatcher for local day routes. The role covers route and staffing plans, support for transport partners and fleet management.
What You'll Learn
- Plan and manage local delivery routes within and beyond the region
- Plan driver assignments
- Manage and support transport partners and subcontractors
- Monitor compliance with legal driving and rest periods
- Close out routes, check transport services and handle billing
- Process and resolve complaints
- Manage the vehicle fleet
- Help select and recruit transport partners and subcontractors
- Ensure transport and shipments run smoothly
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in freight forwarding and logistics services, or a comparable qualification in logistics and transport
- Relevant dispatching experience, ideally in local transport or day-to-day dispatching
- Confident manner and strong communication skills
- An organised, independent approach focused on finding solutions
- Teamwork, reliability and a strong commitment to the job
- Good spoken and written German
- Confident use of MS Office and common dispatching systems
