About this Apprenticeship
Warehouse role at hasenkamp covering goods receipt, warehouse records, order picking and shipping. Tasks also include safe loading and moving high-value equipment into and out of customers' premises in two-person teams.
What You'll Learn
- Receive, unload, check and sign for all incoming goods
- Distribute goods in the warehouse and pack, unpack, repack and pick orders
- Prepare and label goods for shipping, including packing lists, delivery notes and invoices
- Record deliveries in the warehouse management system
- Hand outgoing goods to freight carriers and parcel services
- Carry out stocktakes and check stock levels
- Move high-value equipment into and out of customers' premises, taking it to its point of use in two-person teams
- Load goods correctly and secure loads for safe transport
Requirements
- Some previous experience in warehouse logistics
- Practical skills and technical understanding
- Spoken and written German
- A forklift licence, ideally also a car driving licence
- Teamwork, reliability, commitment and resilience
- A customer-focused way of working
