Apprenticeship Mechatronics Technician for Service 2027 Wiesloch-Walldorf site

Training at HEIDELBERG offers young people diverse development opportunities and prospects. Onboarding with a seminar week and team-building activities, plus training sessions and workshops, prepares you for your apprenticeship. Around 300 apprentices and students are trained across Germany. The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years at the site in 69168 Wiesloch-Walldorf.

• Learning basic skills in manual and machine material processing through varied project work
• Planning, making and building mechatronic assemblies and commissioning them, including at the customer's site, with support from an experienced service technician
• Programming mechatronic systems both in the training center and in the department on complex printing systems and print finishing machines
• Gaining knowledge of automation technology
• Learning and working in a real environment
• Acquiring service-specific specialist knowledge already during the training
• Installing and maintaining printing systems and print finishing machines at the customer's site in Germany

• Intermediate school certificate or higher
• Valid work and residence permit for the Federal Republic of Germany
• Advanced German language level (at least B2)
• Basic English skills
