You assemble, test, and program electronic devices and systems, analyze faults, and ensure that every component fits together perfectly. From the first circuit to the finished measuring device, you accompany the entire creation process and contribute with your technical expertise to ensuring our products can be reliably used in a wide range of industries. You will learn to assemble, wire, and commission electronic devices and systems. Populating and testing electronic assemblies and circuit boards is part of your apprenticeship. You will learn how to build and test circuits according to circuit diagrams. You will work with the application of measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures for fault finding. Analyzing and rectifying faults on electronic devices and systems is also part of the Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems' tasks. You will learn to accompany and optimize production and test processes. You will learn to create and use technical documents, circuit diagrams, and production documents. Maintenance, repair, and service work on electronic devices will be taught to you directly by the specialist department. Together with experienced colleagues, you may work on exciting development and production projects.

Completed lower secondary (Hauptschulabschluss) or intermediate secondary (Realschulabschluss) school diploma; academic strengths in science subjects, especially mathematics and physics; German language skills at level B2; interest and enjoyment in electronics, manual dexterity, technical understanding; precision and care; teamwork and appreciation of personal interaction; listening and understanding as prerequisites for learning; trust and reliability, keeping commitments
