Expert Maintenance / Certifying Staff for Aviation Equipment

The Manufacturing/Maintenance division acts as an approved aviation organization and system partner for the manufacture, maintenance and support of stationary and mobile mission systems. The teams handle production, assembly and integration of assemblies, systems and cabling, and ensure functionality with inspection and test environments. A focus is on maintaining aviation equipment and integrating technical equipment into mobile container solutions and ground stations. The team is looking for reinforcement at the Nordholz site.

• Maintenance and inspection of aviation rescue and safety systems (C54) for the Boeing P-8A Poseidon
• Carrying out findings assessments of aviation equipment
• Checking that maintenance work complies with DEMAR 145
• Preparing the maintenance report
• Issuing CoC / DEMAR Form 1
• Recording maintenance measures in the life record card (L-Akte)
• Carrying out incoming and outgoing goods quality inspections and accepting material (classifying delivered goods)
• Member of the Material Review Board (decision body on handling blocked material)
• Member of the Supplier Approval Board (decision body on inspection or audit requirements for suppliers)
• Carrying out First Article Inspection (FAI) with QM

• Completed technical training or further education as a technician/master craftsman
• Several years of relevant professional experience (up to 5 years) in assessment/maintenance of rescue and safety equipment
• Several years of professional experience (up to 5 years) in aviation
• Knowledge of standards and norms (AR A1-275 or DEMAR/EASA 145)
• Very good German skills, spoken and written (at least level C1)
• Good technical English skills, spoken and written (at least level B1)
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Solid understanding of the relevant official and military processes
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively on business (accompanying naval maneuvers)
• Willingness to work on-call duty and shift work is required.
