Expert Data Management Naval Systems

The "Systemunterstützung See" (naval system support) area deals with linking documentation of model data with logistics data. The digital twin of ships/frigates is created from the digital media. The area also covers system qualification and full scope logistics.

• Support in the planning and conception of the development of existing logistics processes
• Processing selected technical and logistics inquiries within various projects and programs (helping with editorial support of key maritime customers and project managers within system projects)
• Gathering information with selected stakeholders
• Active customer management/requirements management (internal advisory and assessment expertise for navy-specific projects and systems)
• Contact person for the customer and internal departments for logistics consulting in selected areas (creating editorial processes / writing work instructions to maintain quality, standards and safety-relevant guidelines)
• Analysis of logistics data and processes (support in the new creation and updating of maritime procedure documents)
• Support in preparing offers for selected areas
• Maintaining level-appropriate reporting and a project progress plan (helping with technical coordination and steering of subcontractors)

• Completed technical vocational training with further training as a technician/master craftsman
• Several years of relevant professional experience in maritime technical documentation according to S3000L
• Knowledge of S1000D / S2000M is an advantage
• Extensive experience in advising on and creating technical documentation for maritime weapon systems
• Experience in processing, checking and exchanging data of IETD publications, data modules and illustrations using editorial systems
• Knowledge of the logistics processes of the German Navy desirable, as well as of visualization options, image editing and information structures such as HTML/XML/SGML
• Confident use of MS Office (e.g. MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
• Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written, other languages such as Swedish or Dutch desirable
• High quality awareness, ability to work on several projects in parallel, goal- and solution-oriented thinking
• Ability to organize yourself and plan schedules
• First experience with products and services that need explanation
