Field Representative for Materials Management / Warehouse

As a field representative for materials management and warehousing, you connect operational materials supply with external partners. You are the main contact on site, particularly during late and night shifts, handling urgent logistics and operational matters. You help maintain material availability, business operations and customer support in an aviation and systems environment.

• Carry out incoming and outgoing goods quality inspections and accept materials, including classifying delivered goods
• Independently represent the company with customers, clients and subcontractors during late and night shifts, particularly on urgent operational and logistics matters
• Act as the main contact on site and coordinate measures needed at short notice in response to unexpected events
• Independently assess and handle urgent material requests and initiate necessary action within your assigned responsibilities
• Initiate and track complaints and maintain master data in the ERP system
• Manage, maintain and file documents
• Ensure compliance with requirements, including aviation regulations
• Provide orientation and instruction for new employees
• Monitor material flows using logistics IT systems in selected areas
• Develop suggestions for improving your area of work
• Carry out quality assurance measures

• Completed vocational training in warehouse logistics, materials management or aviation technology, or an equivalent technical or logistics qualification
• Professional experience in materials management, warehouse logistics or technical materials supply
• Knowledge of logistics processes and handling technical materials, spare parts and their documentation
• Confident and professional conduct with customers, clients and subcontractors, with strong communication and coordination skills
• Very good spoken and written German and good spoken and written English
• Strong quality awareness, ability to organise your own work, integrity and safety awareness
• Full willingness to work shifts, explicitly including late and night shifts, and to take on on-call duties
• Ability to analyse deviations and take appropriate action
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of aviation-specific requirements, particularly material documentation, traceability and storage, is an advantage
