Master's thesis in the "Digitalisation & Innovation" department at HENSOLDT Optronics in Oberkochen, starting as soon as possible. Topic: combining the TRIZ method, patent research and AI.

• Familiarization with the TRIZ method and its use for systematic problem solving
• Familiarization with patent law and systematic patent research
• Analysis of options for AI-supported evaluation of patent information
• Development of a concept combining patent research, AI and TRIZ
• Selection of a suitable example to test the developed approach
• Editing and further development of a generic template for problem formulation
• Application of the developed template to the chosen example
• Evaluation, assessment and documentation of results
• Presentation of results within the company
• Optional: preparing the results for a scientific publication

• Ongoing studies in computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering, technology management, innovation management or a comparable field
• Interest in artificial intelligence, innovation methods and technical problems
• Interest in patent research, technology assessment and systematic analysis of technical information
• Initial knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning or data analysis is an advantage
• Knowledge of innovation management or product development is an advantage
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Structured, independent and scientific way of working
• High degree of initiative and interest in getting into new subject areas
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good written and spoken German and English
