Transport Coordination Specialist

Team HMAM13 supplies spare parts, tools, ground support equipment and test systems for the P-8A mission system directly at the customer's site and supports naval deployments. It also provides IT systems for operational support and analysis, along with technical, operational and strategic support on site.

• Coordinate transport according to general instructions
• Independently carry out transport operations in compliance with the necessary standards and communicate with materials management and warehouse administration
• Act as the contact for customers and internal departments regarding transport coordination in selected areas
• Analyse transport data to improve transport services provided
• Help improve logistics processes and interfaces
• Maintain reporting appropriate to each organisational level
• Support the export department and experts in ensuring and monitoring company compliance with national, European and US export control regulations, including preparing work instructions and coordinating approval with export control, assisting with obtaining required documents following prior coordination with export control, administering supplier export control information and licence applications, and specifying and agreeing administrative export control support with export control
• Prepare work instructions and coordinate their approval with export control

• Completed technical vocational training or further training as a technician or master craftsperson
• Initial professional experience in engineering or logistics, preferably directly relevant
• Sound knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), customs and safety
• Solid understanding of government and military procurement processes
• Confidence in dealing with customers, including military customers
• Strong quality awareness and a goal-oriented, solution-focused approach
• Ability to identify ways to speed up processes while following rules and regulations to reduce costs and effort
• Strong advisory skills and experience enforcing requirements
• Strong communication skills, a confident manner and teamwork skills
• Good spoken and written German and English
• Willingness to travel for work
