Systems Engineer Electronics & Software for Camera Systems

For the "Smart Sensors" division, HENSOLDT is looking for a Systems Engineer Electronics & Software for Camera Systems (f/m/d) at the Oberkochen site, starting at the earliest possible time. The Smart Sensors division develops imaging sensors, active sensors and warning sensors that are sensitive from the visual to the infrared spectral range and are used for reconnaissance and target acquisition in civil and military applications. The "Sensor Electronics and Hardware" team is responsible for the electronics and software of these sensors.

• Analysis of system and customer requirements and translating them into precise technical requirement and specification documents for electronics and software
• Close collaboration with system architects (f/m/d) to ensure requirements are technically feasible and scalable
• Close collaboration with the other systems engineers (f/m/d) of the "Smart Sensors" division on requirements creation and analysis
• Structuring and managing technical requirements with SysML / MBSE and DOORS, and ensuring consistency through to design
• Creating and monitoring realistic schedules and milestones in Jira & MS Project, taking technical dependencies into account
• Technical link between customers, business areas, internal development teams and external partners
• Technical management of external development partners and quality assurance of the delivered artifacts

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering or engineering with a strong focus on cameras, software and electronics
• Deep understanding of developing complex, object-oriented software (ideally a background in C++ or a comparable tech stack)
• Solid experience in requirements engineering (including working with SysML, MBSE, DOORS and writing requirement and specification documents)
• Confident use of Jira & MS Project and experience in structuring development projects
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical matters and document them precisely for different stakeholders
• Very good German and English skills for communication in an international environment
• Willingness to undergo a Ü2 security clearance
