Apprenticeship as IT Specialist for System Integration

The focus of system integration is on realizing, operating and managing customer-specific information and communication solutions. You learn to install and configure client-server architectures with regard to data security. In addition, you are responsible for the administration of IT systems and thus for their proper functionality. As an apprentice in the field of IT, you learn everything to keep a company's IT running. Once qualified, you advise on the purchase of PCs or software, but also configure entire systems and networks, install and maintain them. As an IT expert, you are able to provide technical support to users who urgently need your help – quickly, flexibly and explained in an uncomplicated way. IT specialists also frequently conduct user training and pass on their knowledge in a simply explained and understandable way.

You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) an intermediate school leaving certificate or a higher school qualification. In particular, natural sciences and technology are your favorite subjects and your performance is correspondingly good. In your free time or at school you already have experience with PCs and other IT systems. Moreover, you recognize information technology problems, provide solutions and work carefully. As a team player, you are ready to approach others, show commitment and take initiative. Your German language skills are very good and ideally good in English.

Training duration: 3 years – a reduction to 2.5 years is possible with very good performance. Start of training: September 2026. Application deadline: approximately 3 months before start of training. The training combines the areas of the vocational school center Bietigheim-Bissingen and the company, supplemented by our training workshop, thus offering a perfect combination of theory, practice and induction phase. Together we lay the foundation for further qualification as an IT specialist as well as operational or strategic IT professional for a possible university degree.
